CLIMATE:

Garsfontein enjoys a sub-tropical climate with warm to hot summer days, often accompanied by late afternoon summer showers. Winter lasts for fewer months, receives no rains, and may see early morning temperatures plummet to low single digits while it generally becomes quite comfortable later in the day. Cold morning temperatures do allow for frost, but Garsfontein gardens are mostly protected under an umbrella of greenery and tree-lined streets.

MAIN ACCESS ROUTES:

Garsfontein is bordered by three major thoroughfares leading to and from Pretoria East. On the northern side is Atterbury Road and on the southern side is Garsfontein Road, both of which lead to the N1 Highway, while Solomon Mahlangu Road lies to the east and leads to the N4 Highway. Access to all main roads and highways are merely a few minutes' drive away.
