Moregloed lies in the valley between Pretoria's city centre and the southern slope of the Magaliesberg Mountain range and forms part of the greater Moot area.  Across the mountain on the northern side lies the well-established suburbs of Pretoria North.

Typical in this suburb is the selection of larger stands, a trend in the older suburbs, so the perfect solution for larger families together with the fact that it is closely located to most sought-after amenities.  In addition, these larger stands also allow for sub-divisions so an effective way to make use of space and therefor also creating a great mix of property type and a subsequent blend of resident types.  Moregloed is especially well located for those who need to travel into the city for work purposes.

Moregloed's neighbours include Waverley, Villieria and the industrial area of Koedoespoort, while just a short drive over the mountain leads to a selection of larger and, in places, equally well-established suburbs and a complete selection of all and any amenity that one may need.  Amongst others, these suburbs include Montana, Magalieskruin and Sinoville. 

CLIMATE:

Located on the southern foothill of the Magaliesberg Mountain range, Moregloed enjoys a full day's sunlight together with the warmer sub-tropical climate as is prevalent throughout most of Tshwane.  Rainfall takes place during the summer months and, typically, the mid to late afternoon showers break the heat allowing for cooler but comfortable summer evenings.  Day temperatures can easily reach early to mid-30 degrees Celcius.

Winters can be quite cold during the early morning hours but generally warm up to be pleasantly comfortable for most of the day.  On the odd occasion, when temperatures become unusually low, there may be frost.

• Via the M8: 17 min / 10 kms

MAJOR ACCESS ROUTES:
 

Moregloed is bordered by two main access roads including Codonia Avenue to the east and the M8 to the south, allowing for easy access to the N1 and subsequently the N4 highways.  Frates Road is also within easy reach allowing for direct travel toward the Pretoria city centre.  Hatfield Gautrain station is a short distance from Moregloed.
